When I was a boy I appeared on the Happy the Clown show on Channel 6 WFIL. I believe the year was 1959 or maybe 1960.
Happy put me up on a counter top and asked me if I liked Bocso and I told him I drank it everyday. I just saw a reference to Bosco and this memory came back. Wow, they were great days! I even had my Bosco the Bear bank for years!
my Dad kept an empty Bosco clown jar as a piggy bank. He passed away 3 years ago and my sister just wrested it away from my Mom. She sent me a good photo of the clown jar and I would be happy to send it to you. It was the source of many happy memories for our family.
